Lis Wiehl was born August 19th, 1962. She was previously a Fox News legal analyst.
She is an adjunct law professor in New York Law School. In the past, she worked as an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, the Imus morning shows, and hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She earned a bachelor's diploma from Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literature Studies from the University of Queensland (1985), and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl served as the US attorney. She served as a legal correspondent on the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. From 1995 to 2001, she served as a tenured professor in the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl is an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
