Sharp, who was born in Rochester, New York in 1962, studied clarinets along with cellos, pianos, and clarinets at Hochstein School of Music. After gaining a scholarship at The Boston Conservatory because of her enthusiasm for school theatre Sharp applied to The Boston Conservatory. Cum Laude, where she earned a B.F.A. Sharp began her career on stage after graduating from the Conservatory. Sharp was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel The show debuted Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp has also performed in Abyssinia and Aida as well as Thunder Knockin, Jitney and The Producers. She was even a read for August Wilson's Come and Gone. Sharp, who has worked in both on the screen and on stage is currently engaged in several unique projects. Sharp is working on her first full-length album of her own. Sharp likes to stay fit and stays in great fitness by learning Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp has a family home located in Los Angeles.
